Popolo joins Thai FDA, NHSO, and TILSNA to discuss the strategic transition of local medical innovations into the national healthcare network.
On February 25, 2026, Krittima Tumkanon, Managing Director of Popolo had the distinct honor of speaking alongside representatives from the Thai FDA (อย.), TILSNA (สทนว.), and the NHSO (สปสช.).
Our session, "Connecting the dots from research to innovation health products in reality," was part of the National Health Product Consumer Protection Conference 2026 hosted by the Thai FDA. We were there to share the journey of transforming local research into tangible healthcare solutions for the nation.
From Research to Reality
The journey of our "6STARS Multi-band Ligator" began with a deep commitment to patient care of Prof. Dr. Sombat Treeprasertsuk and Dr. Thaninee Prasopphokakorn.
Today, we are grateful to see this innovation move toward a nationwide rollout. Inclusion in National Centralized Procurement is a meaningful step in making Thai-developed medical devices accessible to our national healthcare network.
